My sunshade on drivers side rear door hit my hanging dress shirt and the top bar came off the medal pin that goes up and down so now its only connected to the track on one side.

Does anyone know how i can stop the sunshade half way or how one puts this back together. I hit the button and it goes up and then I can't connect them when its moving.

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't have the sunshade to try this, but what if you hit the Engine Start/Stop button to shut off the power once it is half way up.

 

If its anything like the windows, it'll just keep going up when you turn off the engine.
