Thats the reason i am not changing my transmission i have the exact same problem reverse and 3 n 4 gear . Every mechanic has their own stories to tell from software to complete transmission change would really appreciate if someone who actually was able to solve the problem reply .

 

Don't you see? There is no one solution. It can be many reasons why it malfunctions, But good luck anyways.

 

I would check wiring harnesses and clean if necessary. Techstream allows active testing, it might worth looking into transmission tests.

Not yet i just overhaul the transmission i found damage seal and clutch c4 with balancer i install the transmission but still have issues with sp2 sensor i will replace it an update you if problem solve

Any more details on the overhaul. Like which parts were replaced and how much did that cost?

 

2007 ls460 am living in bahrain it cost me 800$ i replace whole clutch pack and seal kit and one balancer minrly nothing damage inside the transmission it was internal leak with c4 clutch balancer if I'd solve the problem earlier i think the clutch will be fine

 

Bro, how many litres of transmission fluid was put after the overhaul? Do you have the info?
