Default 2011 LS460 AWD Brake pumping sound

Hi, can someone please help me with this issue. I have an issue on my 2011 ls460 AWD. I never heard this sound prior to replacing the whole brake actuator system last month at Lexus dealer cost me almost $3600 and now with new actuator on, it makes this awkward pumping sound everytime I step on the Brake pedal and it’s getting annoying. I went back to dealer 3 times and was told “it’s normal” why wasn’t that sound there the past 6 years I owned the car? I bought it with 22k miles on it and now I have 57k miles with a brand new actuator that makes a annoying pumping sound everytime I step on brake pedal? Can you help me figure this out or what’s causing it? Because I honestly think the dealer don’t know what they’re talking about! There’s no way they will convince me that it’s normal as if they know my car better than I do. It’s never made that sound since I’ve owned the car and now after getting brake actuator replaced it’s there! It’s just getting under my skin when you have a very quiet car that makes a loud pumping sound every time u brake!

FWIW, I have an '11 RWD and had the actuator replaced under Lexus' extended warranty about 1 1/2 years ago. No noise....Perhaps try a different dealer and/or get Lexus HO involved.

I’m seeing another dealer I have an appointment in a week but I needed more insights with any information I can have to provide to them so they can know exactly where to start or what to do to fix the problem so I don’t run into going back and forth 3 times like I did with previous dealer. But thanks and if I can’t get it done right I will get HQ involved

I wouldn't try to explain it to a service tech. They have techs that road test cars. Go with the individual as pax and point out the noise. Good luck.

thanks I need all the luck I can get! I went on road test and pointed out the issue 3 different times just to get told “that’s normal” by some straight out of college or high school punk that still has milk behind his ears smh

At this point I would just contact Lexus USA and make a complaint. Brakes are a safety issue and even though it is just an annoying sounds I would insinuate that the car feels different when braking.

Another dealer will look in the notes in the history and most likely tell you the same thing. If the sound was not there before then doing the work then it should not be there afterwards. The dealer gouges you in the price for the job so they should damn near perfectly!!!
