My '07's trunk got flooded (leak is now fixed), and a few units got damaged. I now have no audio. Took it to a specialist and he said that this module is damaged, and not the amplifier.

My research shows that this the a GPS / Multi-Display module. Can't find any more info on it. Anyone knows if this could affect the audio?
I don't want to buy this module to find out that it won't solve my issue.

It seems the module is responsible for multi-display switching (backup camera and dvd) functionality and possibly GPS.

 

Update: Received a replacement unit from Latvia, plugged in and boom. Audio is back to life. Been working great for over 2 weeks now.
