Default AUDIO: Amp Wiring Kits: Created Equal?

Hey CL, I'm sure there are a few professional installers here; are all amp wiring kits created equal?

I am looking into Lightning Audio's SPK41C Amplifier Wiring Kit to connect a Kicker KX600.4 600watt 4/3/2 channel amp to the front speakers and a sub. The front speakers will be Polk db6500 components and the sub is a Kicker c12, dual voice coils. The lightning Audio amp wiring kit is 70.00 where the no name brand is 15.00. Is there a difference.

In my home I love Acoustic Research Pro Series Interconnects and they've made me believe that quality comes from brands other than Monster. Is this the same for Car Audio.

Please help - Thanks.

Darius,

Do you have any links for the mentioned products?

As for power wire - no difference as long as you're using the same guage and they have good insulation. You won't notice the difference between Phoenix Gold 4 guage versus Monster 4 guage power wire.

Audio interconnects and speaker wire...that's where you'll notice the difference on a set of revealing speakers (Dynaudio comes to mind... ) I tried this test with one of my former buds. He originally had Interlink 400 interconnects from Monster and then I had him swap out the cables for a set of M850i Monster M Series interconnects. YES, there was a difference...and this kid is a "boomer boy". Mids and treble were improved by a good amount, sorta like cleaning a semi dirty window...more to see afterwords. Or in this case, more to hear.

Hello Percy, Thanks for the quick response. decided on Polk components over Infinity because I have polk speakers in the house and have grown into a big fan of their sound. Infinity is great also but this way I know that what I am listening to in the house will sound just as great, if not better, in the car.

I plan on wiring the Kicker amp to the Front components and the Sub, the Nakamichi amp to the rear doors. A 1-Farad capacitor will be in the trunk. The Nakamichi amp is already in the trunk on the right side of the spare, the Kicker will be mounted on the back seat with the capacitor mounted next to it.

Here are the product links you requested. Any an all info, suggestion, and feedback is appreciated.
