Currently purchasing a 2007 LS 460L from a dealer and I was curious. What are the plug and play features that you could nab from a newer model that would fit right in to an 07? Could you throw an updated 2014 steering wheel in there? What's your favorite modification to your LS?

p.s. how are the cupholders?

 

I'm sure there are many items that you could update an earlier model LS460. By the time you've bought them, though, you might find it easier and cheaper to just buy a later model! I had an '07. Got rid of it because Lexus wouldn't honor their "sticky door panel" goodwill (!) warranty extension. The only thing i really use in my '14 LS460 that the '07 didn't have is the A2DP bluetooth for playing music from my phone and the USB data socket for my iPod.

The cupholders were fine in both versions.

 

There is a Remote start kit, that uses the factory remote (lock 3X), the kit costs $60-70, and requires only 5 wires to the ECU work. If your techy, it's fairly easy, there is thread on here.

I had it in my 2007 LS460L and moved the kit to my 2014 LS460....

Remote start is one of those mandatory things for me..

 

Good morning and new to the forum, I just put an RR tune and RR intake on my 2016 IS300 AWD, wow it really woke the car up. How ever Under Wide Open Throttle (WOT) it will not upshift with the paddles but will with the stick has anyone else had this issue? To confirm I am shifting as early as 5,000 RPMs the gear changes on the dash but still goes to rev limiter. I have had it for more than a month and was thinking maybe the car had to learn the tune but after a couple of weeks the problem still persist.
