Hi guys, I have read the manual. I am changing my brakes this weekend and need to jack up the car. Do I put the jack right under the differential? Not even sure how a differential looks like, but I’m assuming it’s the big silver rectangular looking thing with lines across it.
Is that right? Can anyone confirm that’s the correct place to jack up two wheels at once please? Thanks!
Yes, the rear differential has a spot in the middle for jacks. You also can purchase rubber padding that allow using aftermarket jacks with you car without damage.

thanks!! I put my jack directly under the rear differential and jacked it up. Super easy using a harbor freight 3 ton jack!!

question. Is it on the actual differential? Like the part that has lines across it? Or is it 5 inches in front of the differential? I’ve been seeing different pics and not sure if it should be on the transfer case or the differential.
Transfer case is next to the transmission, it is way too far from the rear. The rear differential has a spot to support jacks, use only the dedicated area.

so if I’m standing directly behind the car, and I’m looking at the rear differential (grey square with lines on it), I should put my jack directly under there right? Or should I move it toward the front another 3 inches?
Is there a place where I can lift anything other than the Jacking point and diff?
I want to put Jack stand at the rear point, but
Because I only had 2 ton jack, I could not lift it with a differential.

Get jack stand pads, it will allow you to use jack stands with jacking points without damaging anything.
