I want to use Jack stand for regular Jack spot, so I'm looking for a way.
That is what it designed for.

I am not sure how many times I have to say this. The pads are designed to work with jacking points. It can be seen from the pad shapes. Below, I provided a picture from one of Amazon reviews when applied to one of jacking points.

Question: Does that black rubber work if you put it on the car jack? I know you can put it on the jack stand after the car has been lifted, but can you use that to lift the car up from one side? For instance, I want to rotate tires, from front to back, and back to front, one side at a time. I'd imagine jacking up the car from one side only.

That set is designed for stands, but you can purchase a pad for a jack as well. I am not sure what jack you have. I provided links below of 2 different ones.

which one do you use for jacking up the car one side? The aluminum groved one? Or the black rubber one?

Rubber one would not cause any damage to the undercoat while aluminum one might.

I did look at the ones on amazon but ended up getting a FIGS. Even though it's at least twice the price, I feel it's constructed better, and I like how snug it is on the pinch weld. The pic where the jack is under the car is where I lift it when rotating my wheels/tires. It's pretty much where the pinch weld ends going toward the rear.

I think I’m going to cut two pieces of wood and shove them in btwn the slots, then put my car jack under it lol. I hear the hockey pucks keep breaking apart.

That is what I had years ago - 4x4 with a groove in the middle.

I've been lucky enough to have a wife who loves me. She just lifts the car up and I slide the jack stand in place. The key is to get a good wife.

I guess that’s a great idea too! Lol jack it up from the front, put one jack stand. Jack it up from the rear differential, put the other jack stand. Then perfect for tire rotation.... didn’t think of that lol

also kinda paranoid about jacking up from the front. Haven’t exactly found out where my car jack should go ...

All jokes aside, I haven't been able to do it either. I just use two ramps then use jack stands. Good luck.

No need to remove the cover, just place the jack within the semi-circle outline.
