Default Need Some Advice 2010 LS 460

Hey all,
Need some advice on what to look out for on the 2010 LS 460. I have a lead on a clean one with less than 100K miles being sold at a Lexus dealership. I currently own a GX 470 and ripped out the air suspension because it sucks after 10 years. Am I going to be doing the same with the LS? Maybe tear it out and lower it a bit with coilovers? What other common problems am I looking at and can possibly negotiate with the dealership? Thanks in advance as I love hearing from owners before taking the plunge!

I can provide you a list of issues I fixed/am fixing on my LS460 since purchasing it around 1 month ago. In between, I got 155k on mine.
- fuel pump repair kit
- intake manifold gaskets
- PCV valve
- engine air filters
- spark plugs and grommets
- valve cover gaskets
- differential fluid (front and read)
- front upper control arm bushings
- cleaned MAFs and throttle body

Are those items preventative maintenence or did you experience a failure?

I forgot to add that I had to fix the valley plate leak. It seems to be a very common issue.

Ran the VIN on the car I'm looking at and it appers the control arms were recently replaced, which seems to be a common issue. Do you know if there was a redesign on the control arms to prevent premature failure or is it a every 100K mile issue that has to be addressed?

I don't believe so, the issue was resolved in 2013+ production years.

If the control arms were replaced, and the rest of the service history looks good, then I'd go for it. Brake actuators have been known to go bad, but I never had that issue in my 08. All cars need continued service so unless you're handy, find a good local mechanic and you should be fine. Good luck.

Here is a list of repairs on my 2010 LS460L: None
I just turned 85,000 on it. It came off a 3 year lease with 19,000 on it and I have not spent a dime on it other than routine maintenance. Brake pads/rotors, oil &filter, tires
