Default LS 460 Sport

Hello everybody,
I’m in the market for a “new” LS, I’ve run into a 2016 with sport package,26,000 miles, one owner, etc. they want $42,500. I would appreciate some feedback from our forum members, even from somebody who drives one.
Thank you !

You may not want my opinion because I'm not a real fan of mine. I have a 2014 F Sport. It's fairly loaded and looks amazing. For me, it's noisy. Not sure if it's the tires, or bad rubber gaskets around the windows. But my 08 was way more quiet. I have to crank my radio up pretty loud to drown out the road and car noise. Next is the ride. It's good, but not great like my 08. I've been told it's because I'm not used to 19" wheels and that changes the ride. The air suspension doesn't seem as good as my old regular shocks. But, with all that said, I'm taking my car in soon for this fuel pump recall. The service manage is supposed to have my car looked over for all these issues and more, so I'll then have a better idea of what I'm dealing with. I hope to report on that once I get the car back and test drive.

Don't want to spoil your quest for an F Sport and I'm sure others with come by with their take on their cars. Best thing is to take it out and drive it or pay someone if it's in another city to do that for you. Good luck.

I would try to drive an f-sport and a regular one. I have the f-sport and the ride is pretty firm. I like it; but it isn't what most people want in a luxury car.

We preferred the standard model interior over the FSport. The only thing I liked about the FSport was the front grille. You may want to find a ‘13 or ‘14 and save a lot ....

I drive a '17 F/sport. I love everything about the car! Mine had 7,700 miles $47k. I have no noise issues or problem with the ride. Smooth as silk!

Best wishes!!

The F Sport sure has some nice brakes. I wish they’d fit under 18” wheels... I have 14” brake discs already but 15” would be amazing along with six piston calipers!

I loved the big brakes on my 2011 sport edition but my 2013+ LS isn't a sport model. I miss the sport features but could not resist the long wheel base option. For me, i'd like to upgrade the steering wheel to an f sport and testing to see if the F sport TCU would work on a non-LSD differential. I also considered getting a F sport differential. My first concern is making sure there is

What i miss about the F sport is the firmer ride, paddle shifters, and the direct shift the F sport has. I dont miss the brake squeal though. Long term goal is to make the LS460L a little sportier. Your only issue is you have to spend considerable time in both a sport and non-sport to really know what you want.

Two different animals but the Sport/F Sport does better at being both...

couldn’t that be addressed with different brake pads? The dust issue is a pad-specific complaint

Correct. I really don't want to replace them until it's time. Lexus said I have plenty of life left. So until then I'm dealing with it.
