I saw that. Bear in mind that LS is not a LWB and does not have the air suspension. Having both of those makes the LS feel more similar to the S Class.

Heavily shopping a new S Class right now as I await how my rear end repair turns out. The S Class is better, but its not worlds better. They drive very similarly, the S Class is a little more solid and stable at high speed. The refresh S with the 4.0 TTV8 has better power delivery than that older one too, power is much better in the S.

Also since no air suspension , means no VGRS .

As mentioned before the S/CL class is in another league just drive one...

I have driven 5 S560s over the last week. Its better, but I would not at all say "in another league" from a ride and drive perspective. Now interior, technology, quality those are other things.

I have them both, however my CL is a V12 biturbo, obviously a lot different....

Lexus did not position the LS series for that luxury sub-segment and it’s an unfair comparison. I don’t think you would care to compare an S430 or S500 to an S65 AMG either.
