I had heard good reviews on CNA covering the repairs, but this will be the "proof" that they really do!

I do know the spark plugs were changed at the 60k service, as you noted, so that is a bogus repair at this point. It sounds to me like your Lexus dealer is a bit squirrely in their recommendations...

I do really miss the back seat of my old 600, and hope you are able to enjoy it from time to time! My Tesla Model S has continued to be incredibly fun to drive, and the bi-weekly over-the-air updates continue to amaze and excite me. Every time I get into a tight situation and mash the gas pedal, it makes me laugh out loud at just at ridiculously powerful the Tesla is... I never really drove the LS600 that way, but I do enjoy it in the Tesla...

Best of luck on your recovery from back surgery!
Thanks, Rick! The fact that the dealer did not offer their "recommendation" until 2 weeks after the car was there was simply inexcusable and made worse by the fact that I was in the hospital when it arrived. I will inspect the strut myself once my recovery permits it.

The Tesla sounds amazing - fortunately I got most all of that go-fast stuff out of the way when I was younger!

I purchased my first LS in Nov ‘19, it only came with one key, so I first asked my salesman about the second key, asking him to specifically call the previous owner of the car, while making sure he knew that I would clearly pay a 100 bounty for the key! With no luck, later in the week, I called and asked him specifically asked for the name and number of the key vendor was that serviced his dealership (if the salesman doesn’t know, the used car mgr. surely does). After talking to the vendor, I negotiated a brand new key fob, key cut and program for 140.00! I cut the stealership out of it and saved a bundle! I only use the stealership for warranty work and if I’m having an issue, I will bring it in for an oil change, and hopefully get a free diagnosis of the issue. I refuse to pay for a diagnosis fee, even one that is credited if the work is performed!
The dealer charged $357 for a new key fob. The car (acquired in a private sale) came with one fob and a key card. Some like yourself have had good luck going the route that you did. Others haven't and I wasn't interested in fooling with the possibility of a fob not working correctly.

Thanks, but as indicated earlier, a warranty should cover it if the strut is, in fact, bad.
