Default Oil consumption nearly gone!

I have an 08 LS with 210k. Typical issues including bad cats 420 and 430 codes..but runs great. At about 150k oil consumption increased and as she got closer to 200k miles she was burning 1 quart every 600 miles. It was so bad I never changed the oil as it was always getting refreshed. Lol.. I did replace the filter. But the oil was always golden as it was being added to over and over.
About a year ago my company moved to company cars so she sat.. for months. My daughter got her driver's license about 5 months ago so I cleaned up the car and decided to install 90 degree cheaters for the oxygen sensors. I think I paid $30 for both. Installed and got it inspected (no issues in PA with inspection to my surprise). We are now about 4 months in and I checked the oil level this morning and to my surprise not only was it full,, it was dark...
I haven't seen dark oil in this car since the check engine light came on at 150k miles..
Could it be with the cheaters on the oil is now not burning due to a computer setting or lack of fault code?
That would be insane but I'm telling ya she's driving the car on the highway and local and has put 3200 miles on the car with no oil consumption. I even asked her if she put oil in, she asked me what motor oil is? Now I need to go change her oil...

I’ll tell ya what’s more strange: your reported amount of oil consumption before the car sat. What is this car, some kind of Chrysler? Ha!

Cat efficiency codes, cat efficiency fix, should not have any effect on oil consumption whatsoever.

I’d be willing to be your daughters driving habits and driving conditions are what has contributed to the improvement. Maybe she is doing a lot of around town driving and more aggressive throttle, opposed to maybe you having more of a highway, steady throttle position? I’m reaching here, but if these throttle plates are “open” more often and further, there should be less vacuum involved with the intake and cylinders. Less vacuum=less pull on that oil to come down the valve guides and last the rings. Again, it’s a stretch, but I think it’s less of a stretch than O2 sensor codes that are now fixed.
