Default Unicorn search

Beginning the search for the unicorn. Has anyone seen a 2013 L with executive rear seat but no air suspension?

Like a unicorn, such a car does not exist, at least not in original factory configuration.

Yes may have to take the exec seating off the wish list. No one wants to ride together right now anyway. Going used probably a good idea to avoid air suspension.

This is a gorgeous unicorn but I assume you wouldn't be interested since not only do you have to convert air (why anyone would do that before it fails I don't know) to meet your specifications, but you would also then have to worry about the hybrid battery eventually also. Still this is one heck of a fully optioned unicorn for the right person. Good luck with your search.

Hi Spudo, here are three rare specimens. UltraLux package and fully-loaded, five seater; I only search for AWD cars. These have air suspension, however. The 2016+ cars have Maps that can fill the entire Nav display (no split screen), dynamic reversing lines, and additional home/enter buttons on the remote controller (mouse). These cars had MSRPs of around 103K.

Only thing about Merlex, a buddy of mine bought an S Class there. Their cars often have accident history. They don't hide it, but thats why their prices are often so good.

My pick out of those 3 links would be the 2016 L UL with the Bamboo trim. Beautiful color combo, great features, reasonable mileage. Seems like a good value price for those features. Only option missing appears to be the DRRC. Similar to my UL except color combo and this one is an L with LKA.

That one has DRCC. Its also Atomic silver which is very rare, especially with the bamboo trim if you like that.

The Merlex dealer had two identical listings last week, the 2WD UL sold and the AWD remains. While it's listed as UL, with all the bells and whistles, the VIN shows base vehicle on DriversLexus.com.

May be cut/paste error issue on the listing, but I'd call and see which car they really have.

Koon cracks me up. They're trying to duplicate the magic they had with the Unicorn of all Unicorns they had a couple of weeks ago. They are asking $37k for it and at most they have $31 in it.

honestly the air suspension I wonder why you want to avoid it, its a cost to replace, but its more luxury and its a sell point for many... higher sale value for that feature in 5-10 years

UL 430s with air and mark levinson are still showing for sale at over 10k even with crazy high mileage

I was wrong - there is now a 2007 LS 460 L Executive Seat Package car on ebay that does not have air suspension.

I saw that one with no air suspension or adaptive cruise control which I thought came standard with the executive package.
