Default 2007 Rear Mark Levinson midrange distorting, will a used one from a 2017 be the same?

I have a 2007 LS460. I have a distorted midrange speaker in rear driver door. This part number 861600WG50. I am fine just getting a used speaker. I found one on Ebay from a 2017 LS460. Great. But it seems I remember someone on this forum mentioning that they changed the ML system in newer cars or something. The part looks the same and has the same part number. Any reason not to get this, besides it being used?

Here's the part on Ebay.

Thanks

Thanks, I figured it was probably the amp. It's just that last week the dealer loaned me a 2019 ES350 with ML system and it didn't seem nearly as rich and bassy as my 2007.

$25 was a pretty great deal for a 2017 replacement speaker.

That means speaker wise we are set for next 15 years. Since LS was in production for 10 years .

I have the same issue! It's been nagging me for years, but I never think about it when I'm not in the car Is this an easy DIY job (no special tools, etc.)?

Thanks
