Angry Electronic Issues

I own a 2k8 LS460 and had a starter go bad, I replaced it and got parts all back together but now after the engine starts my HUD displays a message saying " Electrical Systems Limited". I thought it was from a loose ground so after further inspection and making sure all electrical connections are tight I tried it again and still the same issue. No steering, no AC, the steering wheel doesnt come into position- nothing has power. If you give it some throttle it only goes to about 2500RPM and sounds rough. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like limp mode. Did you mess with the plugs and coils? Sounds like something is not hooked up right are not hooked up. My guess.

So after troubleshooting more I noticed my battery was dying, replaced it and everything started up smoothly. Idled correctly, waited until it reached operating temp before I threw it in drive and as soon as I did a Check Generator message displayed on the HUD. Followed by limited electrical systems. Going to clean the terminals and see what happens, and check fuses while Im at it but more info would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a bad alternator to me. You can get it checked for free. If your alternator isn't putting out the voltage that a LS demands, it can effect several different components. Especially if you've got any aftermarket components.
