Default LS 460 vs LS 460 L

Anybody that has owned both is there a noticeable difference between the two as far as ride and is the room noticeably different?

I owned a 2012 SWB non-air and currently drive a 2014 LWB with air suspension. Both cars offer supremely comfortable rides. The LWB drives slightly better than the SWB, but the major difference is its imposing presence. The rear seat space is cavernous in the LWB compared to the SWB, and was one of the main reasons for me to trade in my 2012 after only 7 months of ownership. Best car decision I have made!

Although LS460 has enough room in the back for all practical purpose, with LS460L people in the back can really stretch out on long journeys. You can easily cross legs, slide down a bit etc. As far as my next car goes, it will be LS460L. Wanting LWB also makes it difficult to find one because only around 18% 2013+ were made. If you want RWD like I do then that percentage drops to 10%. Even worst for LWB AWD.
As far as ride, I can't compare because I never drove SWB LS460 but comparing it to LS430, it is definitely majestic.
Worth the wait and extra cost? totally. When buying used, the cost difference isn't huge.
Test drive both and see for yourself.

Having had both, I would recommend the LWB. It rides a little better (subtle) due to the longer wheelbase, looks a lot more imposing and the room inside takes the car to another level.

The L commands a little more respect as the big brother

I've owned 2 of them and will hopefully get a 3rd (+13)

Rear leg room is very noticeable if you will have passengers
