I hope so, I really like this car 2008 LS460. She has 177,000 miles now and I have replaced 4 of the control arms I think the other 4 need replacing also. I might as well replace the motor mounts while everything is apart. Oh, I had Lexus Of Chattanooga perform a 150,000 mile check up, and they have ordered a new interior. I hope that this will be the final work needed for a while! P.S. Thanks for the direction on the part and Kudos to jdanielca for the info on replacement of the part.

Sure, I have several that are cracked, also some that are very sticky. When I mentioned it the service man seemed to not know anything about it but when I mentioned that several folks on this forum with the same general parameters as mine such as (2008 177,000) miles and year. He found the recall, took pics and ordered the parts. I do not know if mentioning that others had had theirs done helped or if it was just coincidence. I did chose to go to Lexus of Chattanooga as opposed to going to the Alpharetta dealer. I am in between them and just thought that the good ol boys might be easier to deal with.

Do you know the recall number or whatever it is used to identify it?
