Hello Lexus family. I need help with where I can buy replacement body panels and parts for my 08 LS460. I was involved in an accident and my RH headlight, bumper, hood and grille where damaged. These are what I want to repair. These cars are not common so that's the challenge the garages have to repair the vehicle. Looking forward to your help.
If your hood was bent, you may have structural damage. Have you even taken your car apart to assess it?
Thanks for the advice. The impact was at low speed and the vehicle does not feel like any structural damage happened. No warning lights on the dash and it drives without skipping a beat. The trailer towing hitch of the suv in front did that damage.
There are quite a few components under there. That repair bill is not just going to involve those components that you listed.
Thanks for that. The vehicle is being repaired under insurance and the repair companies do not take the car apart until they have the order to repair first and the insurance company cannot order a repair until they first quote (at least 3 quotes). So I'm looking again the majors for now to get it back in shape.
I don't know where "Copperbelt" is (I wish people would put their real locations into their profiles) but in most US states, you don't need to get 3 estimates for an insurance company to repair the car.

Apologies on the location, new to the forum thing. Copperbelt state is in Zambia and is the place where copper mining has been concentrated. The main things is there are few of these cars so parts are not common. I have personally seen only 3 of these cars the entire state, mine and 2 others.
It might be a little optimistic to expect a good answer on where to buy LS460 parts in Zambia on this Forum.
With that said, if I was in Zambia, and my LS needed some parts, and I wanted a better price point than the factory, I’d try the website www.car-part.com. It’s a platform for USA salvage yards and you can search by part and location (in the USA). You might get one of them to work with you and ship internationally.
