Default LED Strip Lights

After seeing this plastered all over Facebook and Instagram i bought a similar pair on Amazon. Cost about $23. Have to pull the bumper to get these on where i wanted them. Pulling the bumper was not as hard as i thought it would be. A one person job no issues.

I replaced my old LED bars i had in the bottom air grills. I still have to wire up the turn signal wires. I will also probably disable the DRL lights since they will be dimmer than these LEDs.

I had to cut about 2 inches or so due to the fact that they would not allow the headlights to sit back in all the way. As you can see near the top corner not running the full length.

I will post night photos later and when the turn lights are done.

How is the durability of these strips? I must say that most cars I see with some kind of LED strip look real tacky because it's very obvious and they don't flow well with the lights. Do you have any pics of where the bumper clips in around the headlight?

Seem okay to me. The strips are inside a rubber sleeve. It squishes down when the bumper is put back on. When it off you see a white line above the headlights. It fits in that space well since there is already a gap.

I tried a few other places to mount them but to me was best on top. Thought about in the grill and and lower air duct opening.

As far as the bumper i did not take any photos. Most of it is about 8 10mm screws. The top section around the lights is just a short ridge that fits into the groove of the track. I think if you zoom in to the photo you might see that area.

Any pics with the strip light off? I asked about the bumper because when I was attempting to remove mine I applied a lot of force to that section around the headlight and could not get it to pop out. I thought that I would break something so I left it alone and reinstalled the bumper.

Edit: I see you posted a video.

I see. It is tight but a couple good pulls and it comes away. Nothing to break off i could see. Just remember to get the 2 screws off up behind both upper corners. They are screwed to the fender.

Yeah, I did something like that with another car. It was some work and those head lights were not as complex as these.
