Where is everyone putting the VLine box? The manual says to put it in the glove box but I haven't figured out how to do that. Also, is CarPlay supported yet?

There’s an access plug on the inside left side of the LS460 glove box that must be removed to route the cable in.
CarPlay works well; I would argue it is the best feature of the VLine, though “supported” is a loaded word. It is pre-loaded, so all you have to do is add the shortcut for CarPlay, then tap on the Activate Carplay UI option 11 times to activate it.

Thanks, KYLS. I found a spot under the carpet in the passenger footwell that works. I did install the CarPlay app and its plugin but must have missed the part about tapping 11 times.

I’m hoping this thread is still active,
@KYLS, could you tell me if the access plug you're referring to is the one with a orange cap in the photo I have attached? If so, how can the plug be removed?

Also, where did you guys mount the microphone and GPS unit? My initial thought is try to run both cables out of the glove box and up the A-pillar. However I can't seem to see a way to run the cord discreetly out of the glove box to the A-pillar so I was wondering what approach you guys took. Thanks in advance for your help.

The access is to the left of the orange cap which. If you look closely in your glovebox that piece pops out. I have my connector running from the head unit to my Yatour media player in the glovebox

Thanks for your reply, did you just pop out it along the edges of the square with a flathead?

It just popped out when I removed my glovebox for some other work I was doing but you can use a flat head to remove it. I was running my cables above the filter door before I discovered that little hole.
