Greeting everyone. I picked up my new to me 2011 LS460 L yesterday. 156k miles, $14k. So far everything seems to be working on the car other than the drivers door closer. All the other doors work fine, mirrors work fine, dome lights work fine, and the dash shows the door open and closed when it should be. Is there anything else to check or do I just need to pull the door card and check the actuator? Is the actuator replacible?

 

Its probably wore out. Both drivers side on mine are not working. You can buy a rebuilt one online for cheaper than new. It takes some doing to swap them out. Its a 2 part system for the soft closer units. I chose just to move on with mine not worth the time and money to fix.

 

Hi....at 156k miles. Just wanted to knownif you have chnaged the transmission fluid anytime? How abt previous owners?

 

I have not as I just took ownership. I'll check the fluid this weekend.

 

I've been looking for a a service manual so I can pull the acuactuor and troubleshoot it. Can anyone post or link me those pages? If there are other options pm me.
