Default Deactivate steering wheel movement

I know the manual says deactivating the steering wheel movement when the ignition is turned on and off is a dealer only adjustment. Does anyone have information on how to do this yourself? Dealer only, what’s the reasoning?

Thanks

why does reasoning matter. It means you are locked out of the programming.

I’ll check on my carista app and see if that option is in there and let you know.

You mean when the steerng retracts ?

I'd like to do this also, I find it annoying and unnecessary.

I know you can do it with Techstream, although I haven't gotten around to it yet.
