Hi. Has anybody had any luck with the Enform remote start? I use the app routinely (on my 2015 LS) to lock and unlock the doors, check the status, etc. and all that works just fine. But the few times I've tried the remote start it always returns some error like the battery is too low or something. I hate to bring it to the dealer for such a minor problem; does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks.

 

My Enform remote app works fine, have never gotten any errors except an occasional failure to connect first time. I assume you have a current "remote" subscription if you can lock/unlock etc so all commands should work. Only suggestion I have is delete/reinstall the app and see if it works after. Also you may want to call the technology specialist at your dealer and ask if they have any ideas...good luck...

I finally called the Technology guy at the dealership and he said to bring it in. I did, and they had to "reflash the telemetry module". Apparently the module with the cellular radio in it had an invalid software image. Tested it and it works now. Wish I hadn't waited until so late into the winter to get this fixed!

 

Good to hear you got it fixed! Did they tell you how it got goofed up? Sounds like a strange thing to happen to me....

 

No, they didn't offer any explanation how the car that got that way. Pretty strange as everything else in the Enform app worked.
