Default Delivery-Car

I have a Lexus arriving today at the Port in Oakland, Ca then being moved to San Jose. That is a short distance, but I know it takes some time. This is a four day weekend, so I assume the car will be moved sometime next week. How long does it normally take. We are headed off on vacation on Dec 7th and returning in one week. (I don't need the car for the vacation). I was wondering if the car would ready for pick up before the 7th of December?

Nothing wrong with the question. He's just asking how long does it typically take in our experience...

Wrong forum is my guess.

Yeah....tough crowd.

Personally, the wait would drive me nuts, I'd be "that guy" and hound the dealer and shipper, til the car was mine.

Me too! It's like that toolbox I bought at Harbor Freight that hasn't arrived yet--I've called them three times in the first week!

LOL....that's me. When I bought my SHO back on Oct 20th, it was missing the owners manual. They immediately ordered a new one for me cuz they could't find it. I've now called them 3 times. "Any day now, but don't worry, we'll call you when it arrives". Uh no. I'm not buyin' it. It'll sit there for at least a day, and that is NOT acceptable. \

I could have ordered one on Ebay from somewhere in the deep South and had it in 2 days. But dealer? No....WEEKS.
