During shopping for a '13 to '15 LS 460 L, I have been checking the service history of cars of interest. Came across a brake actuator issue today on a '14. First complaint was at 13,000 miles. It was addressed via "TSB L-SB-0083-16." 3000 miles later it was replaced, again under same TSB. The only documented symptom was noise. There was no indication of the dash lighting up with a warning or anything.
So, was this just a bad unit or a possible indication that the problem extends well beyond early 4th generation cars? I've already ruled out models prior to MY 2013 due to their potential lurking issues. Have seen control arm problems on a couple of '13 and newer models. Now wondering if issues extend all the way through '17 and will usually only show up with mileage/age.
