Default Cargo Net popping off

Hi all,

My cargo net keeps popping off the hooks. As you know the upper black plastic LS460 hooks are not a butterfly type hook with 2 prongs like most lexus vehicles. I'm thinking maybe my cargo net is not original to the vehicle. Does anyone have this problem? There is not enough downward pull on the single arm hook to keep the net on.

I have the same problem....... Poor engineering on a simple part. I just live with it and ***** about it every time it comes off the hook. I am thinking about buying some small hook clips (caribiner style) and ty wrapping them to the plastic hooks..... Make it will look Ghetto but it will work.

cant be we just get the hooks off the other lexus and pop them in our cars? I assume the holes are the same... problem is I do not even have a net in mine. Need to get one.

This is what I did and it works great....... Yes! I will trim the ty wrap.
The plastic pieces unclip from the body very easily and this is a 5 minute job for less than $3.
It might look "Ghetto" but it works and nobody will see it with the trunk closed.

This really has not been a problem for me. Sure I have knocked one end off but my DW puts 3-4 full shopping bags a week in the net and they rarely come off. Even when I lift the bags out do they come off?
