Question on Changing Tranny Fluid
Hi everyone,
I have been reading the various threads on flushing versus simple drain and refill of the transmission fluid.
If there is any consensus from what I can tell it is to do the drain and fill and not the flush, am I correct on this?
I have 105,000 on my 07 LS from what I can tell from the service notes the fluid was changed around 50k miles ago.
There also seems to be disagreements on what mileage intervals it should be changed, would you all advise I do it now?
Thanks everyone, I have learned so much from you all.

I'd recommend a 30-50k miles/4 yrs interval. So, yes do one now.
Drain and Fill seems to be the safest way. If you really want to be super thorough, you could so 3 D&F's in a row to replace nearly all of the fluid without flushing. Otherwise a Drain and Fill every 30k miles would be great for your transmission.
