So one complaint with my new to me 08 LS is the fact that the glove box chatters when hitting bumps. I didnt notice it on my test drive since it would have most likely dissuaded me from purchasing it because I hate rattles and interior noises. After reading other posts on how to fix it (which I am greatful for the tutorial) I just dont have the time at the moment to dive into tearing everything apart. I decided to go another route with has been very successful. I took my insurance/registration card wallet and slid it above the very large car manual leaving it slightly forward. Since it is such a tight fit, when I close my glove box it puts a little pressure on it preventing it from moving while driving.
Stick a round chair leg pad in the right top corner of the glove box so the inside of the door hits it when closed. Stack 2 or 3 up if you need to. I did the real mod on my door which helped a lot and it still needed one pad to get it tight.
