A/c concern
I have a 2008 LS460L. My automatic climate control use to come on automatically, now there is a delay. I now have to wait 2-3 minutes before I can turn it on and adjust the temperature.
The settings on the fan move from low to high, but it is only after waiting 2-3 minutes.
Can someone tell me if I am about to experience an issue with my compressor?

Make sure the filter is fully seated and give it another go. Also, if you remove the door to access the filter and the little "accordian-style" door is closed, DO NOT force it open. Use the recirculate button to open it. If you press the recirc button and the door does not move, you'll need to pull the glovebox and reconnect the mechanism which moves it.

Here is what I found. I checked the filter (to see if they changed it) and found that the entire apparatus was turned upside down. The technician did not look at the arrow and simply jammed the filter holder in place upside down. I only experienced the problem after allowing the (Toyota) service department to replace the filter.
