Jump start without removing the battery cover?

Jump start without removing the battery cover?

Is it possible to jump start a second car (using regular jump cables) without removing the battery cover? If not it would be quite inconvenience....

You can get the clamps in there, at least on the 2007 model.

But it's so easy to pop off. Just push the middle of the clips in and that's it. Make sure to remove the clips before pulling the tray or they might pop up and fall down in the engine bay.

I guess the official way of doing it is to take the engine cover off so that you can...... take the front panel off so that you can...... take the side panel off so that you can...... take the battery cover off!
