Default F-Sport Upgrade

Good Morning,
looking for a lil help from the Club Lexus family...My baby has met an untimely end thanks to mother nature and haphazard drivers but I digress, I am looking for a 2013 Ultra White F-Sport with under 80k on the dash for no more than $35k. This will be my 4th Lexus (98 GS400, 2006 GS350, 2011 LS460) and I am comfortable with the higher mileage as the most I had to do other than basic maintenance on those 3 vehicles was replace a water pump on the 98. If any1 can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated. I know this isn't the classifieds and that CarGurus, AutoTrader, and Cars.com are good resources but figured I may get a lil more help here. Thanks.

*this one slipped thru my fingers by 1 day : (

All those sites you listed are pretty solid for finding a new vehicle. Sometimes it just takes a couple of months to find your deal. Keep looking.

I would add www.autotempest.com to your list. They aggregate listings from multiple sources (like the ones you mentioned) into a single location. They also allow you to do a nationwide search of Craigslist, which can be useful at times.

I'd also check out www.carvana.com and www.vroom.com to see what they have. The beauty of using one of these online shopping sites is you get free shipping right to your door and a 7-day "no questions asked" return policy. This takes some of the fear away from buying a car long-distance, and avoids the shipping cost.

I believe you'll find plenty of cars that fit your description/price point if you're patient. Good luck!

Carmax and Autonation are usually decent places to look as well. You'll usually find their listings on carguru's or autotrader, but sometimes not.

We can't really go find your car for you, but I can tell you that if you bring a link and want feedback on it, you'll get plenty of that.

You stuck on that ultra white color? It was ONLY available on the F-sport and that might make it harder to find. I wanted it too, is a cool color in person. I ended up going with Liquid Platinum on my 2013. That color is more silver than silver.

I'm stuck on the F-Sport more than anything, I do love that Liquid Platinum but my 1st GS and my Baby were both silver so wanted something new...

Oh i get that. I wanted F-sport too, that makes it a little harder to find as well unfortunately. I found mine, but I got lucky I think. I had to have it pulled in from CA to NV, but I more or less stumbled upon it at Carmax. 2013 F-Sport in Liquid Platinum, black interior. 29k miles and 38.9k price.

Here's one in Boston. Not white, but everything else fits.

Yeah it does but I have to make it happen...I saw that one but the Carfax dirty, front end damage, and when I ran the VIN thru Lexus site I saw broken axle, blown control arms, and a few other things.

With that said with that info do you guys think an accident like that but repaired by Lexus should it still be in consideration? I do really like that color.

That's questionable for me. I don't worry so much about body work, but when suspension was damaged, sometimes it never drives right after that....

Was the suspension work due to the accident, can you tell? If its just mechanical failure, no big deal. If it was impacted, I'd keep looking.

That's the thing it seems they were all separate incidents but maybe the accident caused the issues and the owner spent the money and went back when they had recouped (conspiracy theory); Front right side collision 7/16, Ball joints/Control arms 11/16, Driver side Axle replacement 6/17. That is plan Z but I may get it xfrd closer and see if my Lex Tech can go and check it out with me.

I'd pass on that one. All within a 4 month time period sounds related to me, especially since the car was only 3 years old at the time.

All the websites you listed will let you make an account and set up alerts when something is listed that matches the options you select. Set those up for e-mail notification and just be patient waiting for the right car to come up for sale.
