Default Missing Remote Start - What to do?

Just traded in my 2005 LS430 for my new to me 2013 LS460 CPO. 45,000 Miles
Deep Sea Mica Paint and Parchment interior. The car did not come with a remote start as my LS430 did have the option.
What options do I have to install a remote start device. Can this be added at the dealer?
Not so good mileage in the week I've have had the car, around 14.5 MPG much worse than the LS 430.
Perhaps it will get better, and I have idled the engine quite a bit acclimating myself to all the new goodies. Strange option on the steering wheel, its a electronic brake hold, like the old racing car Line Lock.

Any suggestions would be appreciated regarding the missing remote start.

Thanks all

Congrats on the upgrade! You will come to really like that brake hold.

Propcop Here's a link to the thread I was reading about remote start. I'm also planning to add remote start to a 2013 LS (when I finally purchase one). https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-...ll-diy-19.html Start reading around page 19, post #276 for more current dball 3 model

BTW, I was "looking" at that car. You bought it at Herb Chambers Lexus, correct? I love the blue exterior and parchment interior combo, but one of my must haves is Mark Levinson stereo. I'm sure it's a great car and was listed at a good price for a CPO! Enjoy!

As neither the LS430 or the LX460 had a factory RS, what type did you enjoy on the 430?

LX460 = LS460? Just a typo or am I missing something? LS460 seems to be a Toro Lawn tractor. Which, with the options described by the OP, sounds like a pretty awesome way to cut the grass.

My 430 had an after market remote start, kind of a pain having two key fob's but in cold or hot weather it was a nice option.
Thanks for the remote start link, I'll check it out in a moment.
I keep forgetting to try out the brake hold but I'll get to it
Yes my 460 is a Herb Chambers car that was located at he Sharon Dealer. Did you notice the pin striping, it was done at a body shop before the customer picked up the car, it's actually documented in the service record. Car had 6 miles on it when it was done. Strange
It's nice for sure but your right about the ML sound system the new 460 is the stock setup, noticeable difference.
I'm super thrilled about the front windshield electronic wiper heater, great option in a storm. Probable use it tomorrow!
But no puddle lights, what to do?

Thanks all

I thought I noticed something that I couldn't put my finger on in the pics, but honestly I didn't look that closely since once I determined it didn't have ML, I crossed it off my list. Post a pic of the pinstriping when you get a chance. Would love to see up close pic!

I do have door lights that illuminate the entry area when the door is opened but my old LS430 illuminated the area when I approached the car with the key FOB in my pocket.

That may be a setting. My LS460s both have/had that feature.
