CNA Warranty GA GM Dealer Contact

Yeah, I kinda like the CNA idea better. Need to get on Skype and see what Jeff has to say for a quote. I called my local Toyota dealership and they said they accept many different VSC's. Also mentioned that they had a Lexus tech relocate from Salt Lake City to their dealership. I made up a list of specific items to ask the seller. He has a good standing with Corvette guys but I just need to make sure that this covered with all the things I need covered. Heck it's a Lexus, I'm really on the fence about getting it. But as an Ultra Lux car then all the stuff in the back increase problems potential. It'll be sitting more than I like but that's the way it goes I guess. I wanted the bamboo interior and 2014 was the last year it was offered in parchment. Then the load out and low miles kinda drew me in. Almost time to get off work and then I'll fire up Skype and the headset to make calls and get this going today.
OH yeah, pictures or it never happened................................

So I guess I’m a bit slow on the very concept of VSC and baselining all extended contracts to the beginning of a vehicles in service date. Jeff contacted me and maybe there’s a long term/low mileage VSC that will fit my needs. Losing 4 years right off the top seems like a crock of ***** to me. I guess I’m just being selfish and only considering what I want from a contract. I doubt I put more than 3,000 miles a year on my new beast and it will sit most of the time. It’s all a gamble anyway and I can’t see the advantage of buying an 84 month contract just to cover the next 3 years when 2 of those years will have drive trained covered by Lexus. In my case a 12 year/ 50,000 would provide me with peace of mind and with a Lexus I’m thinking they’ll still make out. I’ll see what Jeff comes up with but I might just bail on the whole VSC idea. My LS is a special purpose car and not a daily driver. Heck my DD isn’t even driven monthly, only when I’m in the US. Buying for the future I guess and trying to pay a good bit of it off before I end contract. Bla bla bla, sorry to vent. I’d be money ahead just buying the service manuals. I’ve worked avionics, rebuild engines, 2 years college body and fender. Unless I find a good contract, I’ll just put the money into tools and add a 2 post car lift to the three 4 post lifts used for storage. Rant and therapy off.

Ok, now that I've cooled off a bit, I contacted Jeff and it was mentioned that a 9 year policy is available but from what I understand, the preceding 4 years would count against that. Turns out that under the GMEPP or more specifically "My Auto Protection plan" administered by GM, a full timeline VSC from the date of policy purchase is available. I called the admin and discussed the policy, exclusions and timeline and was satisfied with the answers. So I purchased an 84 month/75,000 mile platinum VSC for $1860 but that was after a June discount of $300. I worked with Dennis Fichtner, Internet Warranty Specialist at Denny Menholt Chevrolet in Billing, MT. Hopefully this doesn't breech forum policy but if so then i can delete as needed. Great guy to work with and I'll stop in to visit sometime as I ride through Billings on my way to Sturgis.
Jeff was polite and could very well have you covered but in my situation of basically a storage VSC (for lack of a better term) I wanted a policy that would reach out further. I will admit that i didn't see anything in writing that air suspension was explicitly covered but i didn't see it in the exclusion either. Hopefully i'll never need to find out. Plan is to enable max lift, block the frame and then drop the air pressure to take the strain off the system. Battery tender and storage prep. Not sure if I'll have the entire body wrapped in clear but I sure am thinking ceramic coating. Clear bra is for certain and i'll have the purchasing dealership or the Lexus dealership in Charleston, WV shoot me quotes.

Goats,
Glad you got it worked out. Not sure I understand the time measurement being measured from the production date you noted. I bought a 7 year 85,000 mile policy from Jeff. It covers my car until 2025 or 100,600 miles, whichever comes first. If it was 7 years measured from the date of production, it would be null as the car is already 7 years old.
So yeah, it is just an insurance policy and may or may not be necessary. Your low annual use is an anomaly but I understand. You will have a great vehicle for a long time. Enjoy!

I agree with Luscombe, and was a bit confused by the comment that the CNA warranty starts from the original date of first use. I bought a 6 year CNA warranty that will cover me for 6 years from when I purchased the warranty (on my 2010 LS600hL). I believe Jeff was offering a 9-year CNA warranty that really lasts 9 years from now, not 9 years from when the car was sold. On the ultra low mileage cars, the CNA warranties are pretty reasonable and long.

Baffles me as well but that's what he said. Five years remaining on a 9 year contract. Not sure if something changed or not. Going over the VSC contract this morning. Contract expires 7/20/2025 or 86,074 miles. Kinda weird.
These will cover 9 or 7 years from original in service date and mileage will be total on odometer.
I have other options that may cover more time-less miles or less time-more miles.
Consider your driving habits and let me know.
Thanks, Jeff
