Default LS460L Exec Sub.

This is bsically a copy of a recent post on the tail of someone else's thread.!

Hi. The sub in my LS460L Exec right hand drive, has a slight "fuzzy" rattle at low volume. It sounds fine at higher volumes. How do I get it out to check it?
Also, the Amp was replaced a couple of months ago, but where is it? Since then, the FM radio reception is very weak, possibly bad contact somewhere in the aerial system? How can I find where aerial plugs etc are? Cheers, Keith.

The sub is located in the rear parcel shelf in the middle. The amp is located in the trunk.

Thank you Roadfrog. I have had the grill off the sub, but I'm not sure how to get the actual sub out. Presumably from the trunk, by removing a lot of panels?
Are you able to give me some idea where the amp might be, and whether it might have something to do with the weak radio signal?
Are there joins/plugs in the aerial wiring that might have a bad contact? The signal strength does vary, and is sometimes a lot worse than other times, but never as good as it should be. I think the signal may be better at higher air temperatures.
Any information, from anyone, would be much appreciated.
Thank you.

I believe you have to remove the rear parcel shelf to remove the sub. This involves removing the rear seat and some interior side trim.

Keith is correct. It's not terribly difficult. Id rule out the sub before tackling the amp. Amps are prone to failure, but whether this is the issue or not...who knows? Here is a link to a video on amp removal:
