You should send CarMax a copy of the bills and let them know that you fixed the issues yourself and are now finally satisfied. You never know if they'll make good on their promise and reimburse you for the bills or at least help you pay part of it. Can't hurt to try! I commend you for sticking with it and getting the car just the way it should be. You will be happy and it will totally be worth the hassle and aggravation in the end!

We get on the highway and I told him to take his hand off the wheel and see what happens. He did and of course, it pulls right. He said, what do you expect, the car is 10 years old. I told him to turn around and go back to Carmax. I was done with you guys. Anyway today I went to the local alignment shop and one hour later they were done. 64 bucks and guess what, it drives straight. They (Carmax) didn't do the transmission service either because they said, they couldn't duplicate the not so smooth shifting. Oh well, I got the car I wanted so now, I can start tweaking it like it needs to be. I'm happy with the car.
What a moron. I can't stand most car salesman, can't stand the way they operate, just seems to attract the shadiest people with the biggest attitudes. You should name the Carmax where you got it so people at least know not to deal with them. Send them the bill for the place that finally aligned your car and call their corporate number and complain if they refuse to pay for it.

This was the service Manager. Anyway, I didn't ever have a problem with the salesman, but, the service department was a joke. What really pissed me off was, they never did an alignment and they said three times they did. And, they never drove the car or they would have seen the problem. And, since they didn't ever drive the car, they didnt check the transmission for that hard shifting. It's ok though because I have the car back now. I can't complain after today. The 30 day warranty has expired. No problem. I'll deal with whatever comes up now. The best part is, I have the best looking LS460L, This side of California. There is one guy up in Canada, but his is Black, and from the pictures, his is a close second. I'm just having fun guys. I know I don't have the best looking car yet. BUT, I'M IN THE TOP TWO!!!

You should send a message to the Moderator and, you might as well check the other 375 pages and have those other old ones deleted, at your discretion of course.
