I finally decided to look into repairing my ever cracking drivers door armrest. It's becoming an expanse. I contacted an auto upholster who told me he would order the correct material and the job would be $300. Does that sound right? Then I contacted another auto shop who specializes in interior including audio. So tomorrow, depending on work load, I plan to stop by the latter shop, get a quote for the armrest and check in to a bluetooth audio module. Might as well do both at the same time depending on price.

I thought I recall reading here someone paid $150 to get it done. Or am I just dreaming?

Materials and labor I would say it's a somewhat safe ballpark, in my experience - not with the LS but on my infiniti for side bolstering in the driver seat from the previous owner.

$150 seems to be the going rate for recovering the armrests, if you get them all done at once. If you're just doing one, it may cost more.
