Need 460 LS advice

quiet tires
I get an RX350 loaner when my LS460 is in for maintenance and, honestly, the ride, comfort and quietness are not much different. I think you do have an issue with your tires. Swapping them out will be a LOT cheaper than trading in the RX! You may even get a decent trade in allowance for your Michelins if they really are only 1/3 worn.

Tire noise and road noise is definitely different. Is it enough to take a huge bath on trading the RX? Perhaps not, but at its age it wouldn’t be a huge bath.
Road surface noise is an is an issue for Lexus, very tire dependent. The LS is less so, but still important.
