What suspension problems has anyone experienced on an 08 600h ? I seem to be hearing a knocking in the rear passenger side.

 

Sounds like a rear air shock has gone out(?)

 

Does the car sag when you leave it over night?

 

Inspect your right rear air strut. I can bet the oil is leaking out of it...causing the knocking noise over bumps. Air bag itself is really well made on these struts. You would need to replace the air strut to fix it properly

 

I'm surprised there is no company out there that can rebuild these struts to factory spec, I doubt its very difficult

 

How much should it cost to replace the air shock ? I was quoted by the Lexus dealer $1860. Too much ? I had thought you do both shocks, so that would be $3720.

 

There's remanufactured air struts available on ebay or oem air struts. Iv seen a few available new oem air struts available for around $700 - $800. You can have an experienced independent shop install these with no issues. Save some money compared to dealer
