Default LS460 Air Condition Code

I am gettting air condition fault codes 24 and 97. Does anyone know what these codes mean?

When the car is off after a certain amount of time and then started the air condition will turn off and the set temperature will default to 75 degrees. I have read several threads on this but could not find the codes 24 and 97 on the charts that were posted. It is a 2007.

Thanks

No but the battery is less than a year old. All of this started happening when I changed the cabin air filter. I did disconnect the battery for several minutes to see if the ac would reset and it did not.

24 is solar sensor circuit. Sensor is top center on dash. Move the car to a sunny spot and see if code continues to come up.

97 is likely the ac amp (computer module), likely the connector needs a good wiggle and check for green corrosion. If you changed the cabin filter, it's to the left of the door and may have been jostled.

Default I have codes 44 54 57 and 59

I have a 2011 ls460l and climate codes 44 54 57 and 59 popped up. What could that mean?

Intermittently, I have no heat from passenger side front and rear.

Please help. Thanks

I have the same problem after replacing the cabin air filter.
I'd like to try the suggested fix, but can anyone tell me what the ac amp computer module looks like?
I have a hard time seeing anything in that space, with my ancient knees and eyes!
Thanks....

Hi LANewsboy,

There is a typical issues folks have after the cabin air filter change. Blend door might be busted (not moving regardless of fresh or recirculation setting & hearing some gears moving when the setting is changed). I had the additional behavior where my temp setting was always back to 75 for a cold start. There is a sticky reference that describes how to open up your glove box to diagnose and get a better look at it. My linkage was disconnected as described in post #29 in the following link. I was lucky that my linkages weren't broken in pieces and was able to re-link them with a normal screwdriver. Fairly easy fix. Good Luck, Jeff
