Cracked Nav Trim Piece.
Just wanted to ask how many of you have this issue. I bought my 07 a year and half ago and 2 months after on a 70 degree day this cracked happened. It sat in the sun for about an hour and i come back its cracked and thats also when i realize the dash is bad.
I have seen some other photos around with the same issue. I priced the trim at about $240 ish. I searched Ebay found one looked too scrapped up. Last week found one that the seller said was returned because the lights didn't work. He wanted 250 for it i made offer of 150. He took it guess cash is king.
Anyway put it in yesterday. It all worked fine. Getting the part out was easy. You may have seen the video on how to in FAQ section. The only part that was being difficult was the 2 8mm bolts under the screen. Didn't want to come loose. I am glad it came with all the buttons and vents on it because removing all that would be tedious. The Nav screen is easy just 6 small screws on the bracket and a ribbon cable.
It was a small crack but just looked bad on the dash. Glad i replaced it and for that price.
Question on the back of the Nav screen ended up being 2 sockets that didn't have plugins for one white and one blue. I didn't pay close attention to them when i pulled them off. Anyone know exactly what each plugin on the Nav screen goes too? I tripled checked to make sure they didn't fall back. Everything works as it should. Guessing it was for some options my car didn't have.

Bring it to an auto body place. SERIOUSLY, I had a crack on the navi system on my old LS430, I took it to a repair shop, they fixed it and you cant even see anything was there. Most of them will glue it, light sand and re-paint, you would never see the difference and it might cost you $200-300 TOPS...
