The Factory Service Manual shows two bolts on the top and two bolts on the bottom. You have to pull the vent above the Nav screen and the trim around the ashtray/cup holder/shifter to see them. I removed the four bolts, that allowed me to move the screen around, but I could not pull it out. I didn't find any other fasteners, In the end, I didn't need to pull it out (I was installing an XM power supply and there's plenty of room below the Nav system for it) so I never figured out what it was hanging on.

The vent is held in place by two clips, one on each side. I used a reg screwdriver with some tape on it and pryed on each side. The trim around the ashtray/cup holder/shifter is held in place by four clips, two on each side of the ashtray and two on each side of the trim by the center console. I used the same screwdriver to pry by the center console, jacked it up, then pulled it back away from the dash. I had to remove all the connectors for the heated seats, ECT and VSC. After pulling it up enough to see the connector for the ashtray lighter and shifting into drive (with the engine off!) I was able to remove the entire trim panel.
