Default Thinking about buying 2007/2008 LS460

Hi all. This is my first post here and let me tell you this is a wonderful community full of useful information.
I have a question for the DIYs here. I do not own a Lexus yet but I am thinking about buying a 2007 LS460 (no air suspension). I am a very experienced DIYs (I have replaced head gaskets, timing belts, AC compressors, tie rods, control arms, fixed electrical gremlins, almost anything that can be done to a car) but with relatively low end cars (think about toyota corollas, pick up trucks, hondas, etc) but never with such a complicated car. My question is the following: is the complexity of the car such that it will prevent me from doing repairs should the need arise? If so I would probably would buy a 2007 ES350. It is not that I cannot afford the repairs, I simply refuse to pay for things I can do myself.
Hope the question makes sense
Thanks

If you can DIY, this car is very DIYable...

The LS is no more difficult to work on than an ES350 (and, therefore, a Camry/Avalon). The main differences, as you go up the line, are in the electronic goodies (which you probably need a dealer to diagnose if they are really strange).

I'd go for it - there are plenty of nice ones out there. Check the dash and the door panels in hot weather for "sticky Lexus syndrome". I'd probably pass on any that have sticky door panels/door pulls.

Yea, no question I have had a LS400, LS430 and now a LS460L, With these forums most projects are pretty well documented on this site. I must of saved $10-20K in car repairs over the last 15-20 years by doing the DIY stuff myself.

Then you have to think of Toyota reliability. Lexus is the flagship brand of Toyota and Toyota's BEST of the BEST go to Lexus. After some of the best in the world building / designing, the Lexus LS is the best car Toyota makes with the most engineering that goes into it.

As others here stated, there is nothing magical or mysterious about working on the LS. No unicorn dust or Sorcery required. I have no mechanical background...never even took auto shop in school. I've replaced the plugs, radiator, and water pump. I've replaced the diff fluid, and replaced the brakes. All were easy to do. I've also installed nav bypass, bluetooth module, remote starter, LED side view mirrors, HID bulbs, filters, battery, etc.
