I grabbed one thinking I could use it with Techstream to update my Navi... well, the guy sent me 2 of them, I opened one of them. It's just a 4gb USB drive (I did check discpart and other utilities to make sure it was not a hidden partition or something), and it's only got a few files on it, I think it's just a license .

This is just a 2013 update... Wonder if I can go to the dealer and they would install the update for free...

After getting these USB drives, I did some more research on it. This is how it works.

The dealer gets a DVD from Lexus/Toyota that they install on one of their Techstream computers (DEALER ONLY DVD), when you buy it, they stick the USB in the computer and it licenses for 1 car. They connect then update the car.

So, looking for the USB drive wont really help you.... Unless you know something I don't ?

Here's deal for you.....If you can provide me a method to take this USB drive, Lexus part number #PT219-HDDG5-13 (2013 update for a LS460 navi system) and install it in my 2007 LS460 as a update, I will send you the 2nd one free of charge with no shipping or anything as long as my car is updated.
