Have you tried it more then once?

Worst case you can buy a obd2 to usb and a techstream program and scan your car yourself and you should be able to reset the notification. I believe these notifications are only for GCC lexus.

Lexus dealers in the middle east are crooks. Doesn't surprise me. Have you complained to the local Lexus distributor - this should be part of the 10,000 mile service (I take it that you are getting the oil changed, etc at this dealer)?

nnoooo you nooooobs ) and no, no cable and even no techstream will reset this. you HAVE to use lexus d4 cleaner (otherwise you're f-ed boykie - no tfsi for you etc), and THEN

start eng
turn OFF all gadgets (radio OFF, ac OFF, heated/vented seats OFF)
ensure you're in P
turn LOW BEAMS ON (third pos from OFF)
press brake pedal 4 times in rapid succession
turn LIGHTS OFF
press brake pedal 4 times in rapid succession
repeat (turn LOW BEAMS ON, pedal, off, pedal) until you get 'Inj Maint Reset' display.
Done.

DO ADD THE CLEANER
f off

Interesting how this is only on Lexus vehcile outside the US. It would also be much more effective to use a good cleaner each time you fill up vs once every 10K. Slow and steady wins the race. Also helps combat the negative effects of ethanol in the fuel after trying various products and reading many reviews / UOA's I have been using MMO with every fill up in all my vehicles. Really like the stuff. One bottle last me 3 - 4 tanks of gas and it's only $4 per bottle here in the US.

He is the lexus distributor in Saudi that is the problem my 10k service I usually do it in my friend shop because the dealer asks for unreasonable prices if you ask me

I usually use a fuel cleaner every 5k in this car and in my brother car which is a 300C chrysler with a hemi engine he use it every 15k to 20k and we use the same octane which is 95 I don't know why is this happening maybe the difference between the two engines but I noticed that the warning is coming for almost all lexus owners in GCC

That procedure is listed in other places so it should work. Again, instead of trying to treat the issue after the buildup it is much more advantageous to prevent it from becoming an issue in the first place. Your octane ratings are the same as ours I believe but they way you rate is different. I think you guys just use Ron and we use Ron + Mon divided by 2.

... really lame you guys. you are reeeallly lame )

'just add good cleaner every fill up'? Noooooo. go study you guys. go wiki direct injection. do google 'd4 spray pattern'. etc etc etc. you MUST use d4 toyota cleaner every time this warning pops up. you HAVE TO. don't discuss it, don't complain, don't 'apply logic' (you can't).
if you ARE up to getting learn't - try to understand the D4 modes, especially 'super-lean' mode, where the shape of super-lean fuel-air cloud, moving towards specially shaped indentation in the piston heads...

and if your car is NOT 1UR-FSE (but lame and douche-y 1UR-FE) you wont have any direct injection and thus no warning. nothing to do with 'eu/us vehicles'

Thanks for the info Lynzoid. I saw a video by Toyota on this cleaner :
.

I am more of a proactive maintenance than reactive maintenance guy. Good quality fuel (octane rating has no correlation to quality) is as important as good quality engine oil whether direct injection or not. I always go for 'top tier' gas which is among other auto manufacturers, Toyota also endorses it. I do use Techron and BG44 fuel cleaners on reg basis. BG44 is a good stuff but expensive.

The Saudi service is crazy expensive but their parts department is a lot cheaper then the US. I bought a shift **** for a 2010 lexus ls US retails for $500 in saudi around $160

I think its because the parts they purchase come from Japan
