My drivers door hinge was very loud and annoying. Of course this is the kind of thing you forget about as soon as you close the door. Today I made a point of addressing this. I WD40'd the upper and lower hinge but the noise was coming from the middle hinge specifically the inner part of the rod that goes into the door. I squirted in there also and the noise I'd been putting off or forgetting about for a long time was fixed. I squirted all the other doors also after this. Simple feel good repair.

Try using something better than WD40. try Gigaloo, or Krown. They will last far longer. I particularly like the Krown stuff. When you spray it, it bubbles and percolates, getting itself in all the little nooks and crannies.
