so today i noticed when my passenger door opens it makes a snapping/popping noise as it is being opened. i have done nothing to that area of the car to cause this. i also noticed that when the door is closed the gap between the door and the fender is uneven. the top of the gap is a little more wide than the bottom. any help would be appreciated. maybe i just have to tighten a screw

 

The door is heavy, the hinges on these cars are notorious for failing over time. I'm sure if you search you will find a ton of threads on little DIY's on how to fix, or what you need to do.
