Not on the LS460, but when I was looking to replace my diff fluid I researched the redline stuff...outstanding reviews. I wouldn't hesitate to use it...some consider it inline with Amsoil. I ended up not buying it because it wasn't readily available - I wasn't about to have it shipped when I could buy Mobil 1 right off the shelves for cheap. I've been running Mobil 1 for the past 75,000 miles without any issues, but yeah I'd certainly consider redline if it was easy for me to buy it.

Default Diff Oil

I looked at using Redline 75w85 to meet toyota's fluid specification for the rear diff.
Toyota's 75w85 seemed a bit pricey, but supposedly the best. Not to sure if it is synthetic.
Mobile 1 and Amsoil offered 75w90.
I used Amsoil Severe Gear 75w90. Gut decision. No detectable diff whine.
Make sure you can remove the diff fill plug before removing the diff drain plug.
Thanks to other club members for this tip !
