Default Little Help With Gum Removable Please

I need a little help. At our last gas stop on our way to VA on Tuesday I must have stepped in some gum and did not notice it. So I got back in the LS and now I have a big spot of gum on the driver side floor mat. I pulled as much up as I could but still have a globe on floor mat. Now when I was a kid and the double bubble would fall of my mouth at night and get in my hair my mom would fry up some bacon and rub the bacon grease in my hair and the gum would slid right out. I am not inclined to take bacon grease to my floor mat. Any suggestion would be helpful.

I have heard an ice cube works well...

Worst case scenario you get a new set of mats out of the deal

Yes, you have to freeze it. Either use ice in a baggy, or buy a can of the freeze spray used for removing warts.

I have used WD 40 for gum removal.

You could also use a bottle of canned air but use it upside down to freeze the gum.

Easier than ice ice because the gun remains dry as the liquid evaporates immediately.

Thanks Guys

Steve: I already have an extra set of matching mats. I got an extra set free when I bought the LS

Chuckinnj: Not so sure about spraying WD40 on my carpeted floor mats?

dfkd: Good Call will pick up a can later today when I make a wine run into Costco and take the DW out for some softshell crab at a nice Thai place here in Charlottesville.

Default Air Worked like a Champ

Paul

Picked up a can of the air, turned it up side down. Hit it twice and the gum came right out. You cannot even tell it was ever there.

Thanks for the tip
