My 2007 LS460L has a loose side mirror. The whole mirror rotates in & out just fine, but, when the whole mirror and housing are extended like when driving it is loose to the tune of about 1/2 inch, and moves while I'm driving. My other mirror was fixed under warranty, and I remember Lexus saying something about a nut at the bottom of those mirrors for this when they fixed my first one. Can anyone give me the answer on how to fix this? Thanks a bunch.
I reasked the same question. I ordered 2 sets of the bolt kit got them in last week. My driver side moves a little at time when driving. I have not put them i yet.
This is on my list of niggles as well. When the driver-side shifts while I'm in motion, it throws me off.
Bikes popping out of nowhere downtown looks kinda the same in the mirror.
Does anyone know if this repair changes the *sound* of the mirror closing?
Mine sounds a little... crunchy on the passenger side.
Was gonna grease any gears I found while in there...
